He reached fame as an outstanding philosopher, theologian, economist, linguist, historian, translator, teacher, essayist, editor, writer and literary critic. However, the Scottish historian, economist, political theorist and philosopher was mostly known for his extradordinary fashion sense and his pleasant personality.
